For at se partitioner bruges en kommando som hedder print som vist her. Den viser os der er 3 partioner første er en ntfs boot på 105 Mb og en ntfs på 1999 Gb. samt en diag. Der er et normal windows 10 setup på en disk.

(parted) rm 3 (parted) rm 2 (parted) rm 1 (parted) quitDisken er nu klar til installation så vi skriver quit for at afslutte gparted programmet. Og du kan nu boot på en usb installation disk for at installere linux. gparted har mange muligheder for at ændre på diske. Du kan se hele oversigten her.
