{"id":284,"date":"2019-10-21T19:32:22","date_gmt":"2019-10-21T17:32:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/linuxboxen2.dk\/?p=284"},"modified":"2019-10-21T19:32:22","modified_gmt":"2019-10-21T17:32:22","slug":"org_cal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.linuxboxen.dk\/?p=284","title":{"rendered":"CAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CAL(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 User Commands\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 CAL(1)<\/p>\n<p>NAME<\/p>\n<p>cal &#8211; display a calendar<\/p>\n<p>SYNOPSIS<\/p>\n<p>cal [options] [[[day] month] year]<\/p>\n<p>DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n<p>cal displays a simple calendar.\u00a0 If no arguments are specified, the<br \/>\ncurrent month is displayed.<\/p>\n<p>OPTIONS<\/p>\n<p>-1, &#8211;one<br \/>\nDisplay single month output.\u00a0 (This is the default.)<\/p>\n<p>-3, &#8211;three<br \/>\nDisplay three months spanning the date.<\/p>\n<p>-s, &#8211;sunday<br \/>\nDisplay Sunday as the first day of the week.<\/p>\n<p>-m, &#8211;monday<br \/>\nDisplay Monday as the first day of the week.<\/p>\n<p>-j, &#8211;julian<br \/>\nDisplay Julian dates (days one-based, numbered from January<br \/>\n1).<\/p>\n<p>-y, &#8211;year<br \/>\nDisplay a calendar for the whole year.<\/p>\n<p>-w, &#8211;week[=number]<br \/>\nDisplay week numbers in the calendar (US or ISO-8601).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;color[=when]<br \/>\nColorize output.\u00a0 The when can be never, auto, or always.<br \/>\nNever will turn off colorizing in all situations.\u00a0 Auto is<br \/>\ndefault, and it will make colorizing to be in use if output is<br \/>\ndone to terminal.\u00a0 Always will allow colors to be outputed<br \/>\nwhen cal outputs to pipe, or is called from a script.<\/p>\n<p>-V, &#8211;version<br \/>\nDisplay version information and exit.<\/p>\n<p>-h, &#8211;help<br \/>\nDisplay help text and exit.<\/p>\n<p>PARAMETERS<\/p>\n<p>A single parameter specifies the year to be displayed; note the year<br \/>\nmust be fully specified: cal 89 will not display a calendar for 1989.<\/p>\n<p>Two parameters denote the month (1 &#8211; 12) and year.<\/p>\n<p>Three parameters denote the day (1-31), month and year, and the day<br \/>\nwill be highlighted if the calendar is displayed on a terminal. If no<br \/>\nparameters are specified, the current month&#8217;s calendar is displayed.<\/p>\n<p>A year starts on Jan 1.
