bootctl – Control the firmware and boot manager settings<\/p>\n
SYNOPSIS<\/p>\n
bootctl [OPTIONS…] {COMMAND}<\/p>\n
DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n
bootctl may be used to query or (in the future) change the firmware
\nand boot manager settings.<\/p>\n
Firmware information is available only on EFI systems.<\/p>\n
Currently, only the gummiboot(8) boot manager implements the required
\nboot loader interface to provide complete boot manager information.<\/p>\n
OPTIONS<\/p>\n
The following options are understood:<\/p>\n
-h, –help
\nPrint a short help text and exit.<\/p>\n
–version
\nPrint a short version string and exit.<\/p>\n
The following commands are understood:<\/p>\n
status
\nShow firmware and boot manager information about the system,
\nincluding secure boot mode status and selected firmware entry
\n(where available).<\/p>\n
EXIT STATUS<\/p>\n
On success, 0 is returned, a non-zero failure code otherwise.<\/p>\n
